Frequently Asked Questions
A collection of some of the most surreal and / or mundane questions we’ve been asked.
That’s not a question, but it sounds like a wise thing to do.
Caustik sounds like “co-stick”. It’s not “cow-stick”, and it’s not “co-stique” either.
The word is derived from caustic (kôstk).
“Caustic”, comes from the Greek καυστός (means burnt), via the Latin causticus (means burning). The meaning inferred here is in relation to Optics. When light is concentrated (for example through a magnifying glass), it can burn. It also becomes visible. A common situation where caustics are visible is when light shines on a drinking glass, or the waves on the bottom of a pool.

Make sure you’re following the guidelines set in the CAREERS page when applying for internships. Also note that we are unfortunately unable to give any immediate feedback regarding your application. We get internship requests all the time which makes it very hard to answer every applicant email. If you want to maximize the chances of your application being noticed, just follow the process set on the careers page. Good luck!
Unfortunately we only accept online applications of Reels and Portfolios. We get hundreds of applications per month which makes it impossible to see everyone in person. Rest assured though that if you’re the right fit for the team, we will contact you for an interview. Good luck✌️
